Boarding Policy

Dear Valued Pet Owners,

We are writing to inform you of an important update to our boarding services at Companion Animal Clinic. Effective 4/18/2026, we will no longer be able to board pets that require insulin-dependent diabetic care during their stay.

This decision was made after careful consideration of staff availability and the level of medical monitoring required to ensure the highest standard of care for diabetic pets. Our priority is always the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients, and we believe this change allows us to maintain that commitment across all our services.

Please be assured that any diabetic pets already scheduled for boarding will be honored as planned, and those reservations will not be canceled. If you have an existing booking or upcoming travel plans, our team will be happy to review details with you and answer any questions.

We understand this change may require alternative arrangements for future boarding needs, and we are more than willing to provide recommendations or referrals to facilities that specialize in medical boarding care.

Thank you for your understanding and for trusting Companion Animal Clinic with your pet’s care. If you have questions or would like to discuss your specific situation, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Warm regards,
Companion Animal Clinic
